Chrissy Blackburn

Chrissy is one of Australia’s most experienced and highly regarded strategists. She has been at the forefront of brand planning internationally, as one of the first strategic planners in Australia and subsequently New York as Senior Vice President at Lowe and Partners with strategic planning responsibility for Citibank Visa, Nabisco and Diet Coke.

Chrissy has recently worked on strategic consultancy projects for Telstra, Qantas, Australia Post, Woolworths and the Sydney Festival.

Prior to starting West 82nd in 2014, Chrissy was Global Head of Strategy at The Leading Edge and founded strategic consultancy Red Spider in Australia, which she ran for 10 years.

Nigel Marsh

Over the last 30 years, Nigel Marsh has worked with a number of the world’s leading brands. Since moving to Australia from the UK in 2001 he has held senior management positions including National CEO of D’Arcy and Leo Burnett, Regional CEO of marketing group Y&R Brands ANZ and Chairman of Strategy Consultancy The Leading Edge.

Nigel’s TED talk has more than three million views and is the most watched TED speech ever given outside of America, leading to being in high demand on the international speaking circuit. His first book, Fat, Forty and Fired made him a best selling author. He has written two further books, cofounded Earth Hour and created the world famous Sydney Skinny annual Ocean Event. He is also a proud ambassador of the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation alongside a roll call of Australia’s political, philanthropic and corporate elite.
